The Aggron's Birthday
TW; Slight emeto mention April 29th, Morrigard’s birthday. He never did anything for his birthday, the last time they celebrated was when he turned 18, then he was too busy to celebrate again. He glanced at his screen, refreshing the page before returning his attention to the journal in front of him, “Ein… Zwei…” He scratched his pen against the page, “Tres, Quatro…” And again, “Go, Roku…” Once again, “Seven, Eight…” He stared at the page, the symbol didn’t look right no matter how many times he drew it, he tore the page out and crumpled it up and threw it away and looked back at his computer. What a way to spend his birthday, sitting alone in his room drinking cold coffee, waiting to see if he got a message back, and endlessly trying to recreate a symbol from his memories, “Well it’s work…” he mumbled to himself and went back to drawing, “Un, deux, san, shi, cinco, seis…” Changing the language each time kept his brain from totally shutting off at the mind numbing task. The Death of Nero Starlight Part 1: Holidays
It was the holidays at the Saken household and it was the rarest occurrence, both of the children were home. Morrigard despised being home, their father welcomed him in like always but they were far from being on good terms with each other, which made the first dinner painfully awkward. The two had chosen to hide the real reason for their visit, their mother had just passed, which left Rio, her father, and Natalie, their cousin, as the only living members of the family left in Sinnoh. Morrigard stabbed at his food idly, trying to avoid eye contact with his father, “Uh, it’s really nice of you to let me stay with you…” Angel spoke up, he had joined them with Springleaf as he and Rio had to go to Kalos after christmas regardless and it would be faster to stick together. “It’s no trouble,” Their father, a bulky lucario by the name of Xander said, “All you kids are like family to me anyways, that includes Cass you know.” “Yes yes I’m aware.” Rio rubbed her scar, freshly de-stitched, it

Another day at the shop. Cora and Zoey were close to setting it up to open, but there were still some preparations left. Suppliers to secure and whatnot. They also hadn't come up with a name for their new business yet. Cora wants to think up something really clever for it pfft. It was a relatively small building in the town square with a workshop garage on the side, but it looked like it had been renovated with a very modern look. Inside the shop, past the automatic entrance door was a room with empty shelves along the walls and a counter at the end. There were some wires and computer parts lying around, though in an orderly fashion.

Rio yawned as she tossed the covers off of her and looked out the window next to her bed. A bright and sunny day without a cloud in the sky, summer in Springleaf was always nice, good for all kinds of activities, sleeping, practicing, fishing, or even sleeping so more. She stretched out and opened the window sticking her head out, “Light breeze today…” She murmured, letting the wind ruffle her fur, “I could go for a walk, enjoy the fresh air, then I can get some practice in.” With a nod to herself she got dressed and took off for the day. “Come to think of it, I’ve been living here for a while…

The heat of the burning lights, her pounding heart, and the music that began to play as she sang. A prelude to the real fun of the stage, the crowd’s eyes focused on her in a sea of dark blue lights, a single pink light standing out among them towards the back. Then was the chorus as she began to move on the stage, half pirouettes, drawing her arms close to her body as the faceless male backup dancer joined her wrapping her close in an embrace their lips brushing just shy of each other as she broke away, crossing the stage as the chorus began. April Showers, Rio
A sudden April thunderstorm would have normally kept Rio indoors, except for today, much to her dismay today she needed to head out. “This is so dumb…” She sighed digging through her closet for the rarely used umbrella Natalia gave her when she moved out, “But it’s way too important to ignore…” She found the old pure black umbrella and pulled it out and leaned it against the door. From the pocket of her hoodie she pulled out two letters, “Tch, what idiot forgot to change the person in charge’s name…” She sighed, “Oh yeah, me...” She sighed, “Whatever, I have t

Photographic Memories
It was a lovely summer day and Rio was spending it indoors cleaning. She had just received the last shipment of her stuff from Celestic Town so her room was covered in collapsed cardboard boxes and only one remained. “Alright that’s the last of it… All I have left is this one.” She said and with her claw cut the tape on the box and opened it up. Inside the box was a set of dusty leather books and picture frames. The first picture was of two Riolus, a Gible, Leon, currently a Purloin, an Audino, and an Aron standing in front of a large rustic house. “Oh I remember this. We took this a few weeks after we found Morr
